I have visited the USATT website today to register for the US Open 2009. I usually use the online registration of the usatt.org website to register myself.

Here are some of the confusing things that I have seen on the site:

1. On the 2009 US Open website, it says 2008 US Open on the left side of the screen. Look at the first picture.
2. In the 2009 US Open registration, it says US Citizenship proof is required to participate in the Open Championship.

Is the 2009 US Open Championship events closed to the international players? Am I seeing this information as wrong?

As a follow up, I have received a reply from the USATT saying this will be fixed on their website. They wanted to thank tabletennisJunkie for bringing this to their attention.

I have verified this on the USATT website, and it has been fixed.

The registration deadline for the 2009 US Open is May 30th.
