tabletennisJunkie.com supports many languages. You can write your own post in your language - you can also view the site in your language.

Here is how you can select your favorite language:

1. Click the USER CONTROL PANEL which can be seen under Board Index on the left hand side of our discussion forum.

2. Select the BOARD PREFERENCES tab.

3. Select EDIT GLOBAL SETTINGS.

You can select the language on that tab and save.

Here is picture showing where on the forum you can select your language, county:

This is formally ejunkie. I have been inactive because I use the above feacture and wanted to see what is like using Chinese. What happen is that I received an error message whatever ttjunkie.com pages I go. I was effectively logout. So, this is warning to all--don't try it!

I don't know if my old name can be restored. Varghese, are you working on it?

I am able to get a second email address that is necessary to register again. As ejunkie2 I am still going to post and make contributions but without the honor of being the first user to register (i.e. ejunkie).

Darn! Thanks for finding out this.

Give me a day. I will take care of this. I will make sure you should be able to post in Chinese. It looks like there are some Chinese files are not installed properly when initially the site was developed.

Good news! It did not take a day to fix the issue. How can I keep eJunkie's request on a back burner ?

There is no real issue with the site. There were few languages were missing. This has been fixed for other languages too.

Well, I am no longer able to read Chinese on my computer (as a result of my fixing ) so I have to just ask you to restore my setting back to English to read your email .

I have taken care of that. You should see the language as English.

To do this, I just clicked the USER CONTROL PANEL and changed the language from Chinese to English. I did that even though I don't know Chinese .

I'm happy that issue was fixed fast.

When ejunkie's site was running in Chinese, I was able to see the site in Chinese. But the message are still in English. Thats the hard part. The operating system locale needs to probably change to Chinese, so that the junkies can type in Chinese. I don't think thats worth doing unless you are in China and always the locale set to Chinese.
