You can use that credit towards any service on the site in the future. The listing is free now. So, you can't use it now unfortunately.

How do you handle a member that wants to trade when the FS section is gone? I do see trades more frequently on other forums because no one has enough money. :(

Any auction that is closed (successfully or not) can be seen under the Closed Auction link in the members area. Click that link. That will list all the auctions closed. Now select the one you want to re-list. At the top of the page for this item you will see a SELL SIMILAR link. That will help you to re-list the item.

When you re-list you can select the option ACCEPT SWAP OFFERS. That will help you to swap items between the buyers.

So only under the re-list condition that someone can offer trades. Nothing more direct like a FT list? Perhaps something to consider for the future. Thanks for the reply Varghese.

You can use the ACCEPT SWAP OFFERS option for a closed auction as well as for a new auction. Just check that option, that's all.

Here is a weakness of the site. If you are making a swap offer there is no means of communicating with the seller. There is no PM or other ways for talks like
"Well, what do you like?"
"I like....."
"This is what I have to offer....."
...
