I have heard of glass fiber, carbon (many diferent types like light, tamca etc), aralyte, kevlar etc. But nothing beats titanium. The lightest metal but with "bullet-proof" property like kevlar.
I read from the net a 7-layer blade by Palio comprises of 2 layers of light carbon, 2 layers of titanium and 3 layers of wood. The model is TCT. ( 拍里奥TCT碳素钛合金快攻型乒乓球 TCT titanium+carbon+wooden Blade)
Have anyone seen this or even try this blade?
