free music downloading

Postby ejunkie » Mon May 11, 2009 12:00 pm

Does anyone know some good site for free music downloading (no virus please)? I used to use a site call Delandou or something, but after my computer was infected with virus (not from the site) I lost all my addresses and don't remember how to find it again.

I remember MP3.com was a site for downloading music for free. I don't know about it now. I have produced two music albums, and it was on MP3.com for a while. All my music is sold now through sites like msn music, yahoo music etc... It is a pay per download kinda thing.

What kind of music you are interested in? Is it from popular artists and bands like U2 or independent artists who are not that popular but have good music?

From the site I mentioned I downloaded and listened to Jazz, Latin, Classical, Classical opera, rap, oldies, Children, foreign, etc. and of course the popular music. I prefer to find them on my computer than on radio or a portable device. With the amount of music that I like to listen, free is the only way to go. I think I have the spelling wrong--I can't seem to find that site. It's a p2p site???

Have you checked the website download.com? They may have some reference to the p2p software.

I use the sirius satellite channel. I have been using it for 2 years. It has come with my car as a subscription. I can access it both in my car through the FM radio as well as through my computer. It is like $10 per month.

I had a Toshiba PDA sometime in 2003, and had a lot of collection of music from msn music. I have moved to iPod some two years ago. I use my ipod only occasionally. I have some collection VH1 videos, and those are good motivation at tournaments. My favorite is surely Sirius.

GOT IT!!!
It's Dilandau.com. Took me awhile but I found it. This may not be the best free music downloading site--there are tens of them if you use a search on Yahoo or Google--but it is very simple and fast for me.

I highly recommend limewire as a alternative to that website. :D

A good suggestion, but I don't want to and can't download any software onto my computer.
