Butterfly Madash

Postby ejunkie » Thu Sep 10, 2009 1:41 am

Anyone use this blade before and know anything about it?

I search and come up with just that it's a five ply soft blade that's good for looping.

Any idea when it came out and retired. Was it popular? What woods are it made of? etc.

I knew that it was used by Bai Yang, a former Chinese national player (who was removed from the Chinese national team for having "romantic" relationship with other tt player together with Hou Yingchao, Li Nan & Fan Ying). She used Butterfly Madash FL blade, 5-ply, 6.2 mm thick.

Not sure of when was it introduced and when was it "retired from active services".

Thanks. I saw this on Ebay and since it's a Butterfly that I haven't try before I am tempted.

I know most of the Butterfly blades from the year 2006. I don't remember seeing this Butterfly Madash in the catalog.

Madash was a good few year before 2006. Probably discontinued just after the more famous Cresail and Power Drive.

Did more research and find that Madash is more of a second tier to the othr famous blades, but I still like to try it, just may be not enough motivation to buy one on Ebay. I also find another blade that I like to give it a try doing all this research. It's the Primo Powerfeeling. So if someone has them really cheap and in the States let me know. ;)
