Where can I buy Table Tennis tables in Chennai for my home? Also, please suggest some dos and donts for the table purchase. What will be the price? Is there something like a table tennis plus pool table as well?

I don't know about local stores but you can get a table from the net. The shipping cost is pretty high. The price depends on what you have in mind. You can get a used one and it's a lot cheaper. In the US one can get them from craigslist. I don't know the equivalent of that in India. You can get a $200USD one for recreational play and $600USD for more serious training, but definitely don't get those combos with several game besides the table because the quality is the worst. Again, there are price difference between US and India so those ranges may not mean anything. Varghese, you have any ideas?

I think you have to make a custom order for table tennis tables in India. It is surely available through sports and department stores in India. The brand 'Stag India' makes tables. They are the popular brand in India. The 'GKI Industries' make table tennis tables also.

If you are attending any club in Chennai, they are a good source for getting the tables for you. It is better to do that way than importing from US or the internet.

There are conversion tops available from brands such as Joola. Here is one such Joola conversion top. It would cost at least $300 to import from the US.

Been trying to source table tennis manufacturer in India these few days through the internet but to no avail. I will go with varghese's advice on contacting the local sports store or the local tt club in Chennai. It is a cheaper option than purchasing from the internet.
