How does one improve spin during serves? What is the trick in getting fast spinny serves?

I for one would say the followings :
1) At the point of contact between the bat and the ball, rub the ball hard by swinging and jerking the wrist abrubtly from one direction to another direction
2) You may also utilises your waist, elbow and wrists work to add more power to your spin serve. You should be able to create a tremendous momentum that will cause a very spinny serve.
3) Try to contact the ball with the edge of the bat, instead of hitting the ball in the middle of your bat.
4) With a consistent ball toss, one may be able to have a high quality serve.
5) Thinner blade angle and fast bat speed(using a fast blade with a faster rubber.

Simply trying to get more spin is not the way to play but just a way to practice. For match situation it's better trying to disguise the spin than try to put more. Make a no spin look like a heavy spin.

But before you can mix no-spin serve with spinny serves, you have to learn how to make your serve spinny. That is the gist of this topic, ie how to improve spin during serves.

As I said, practice, practice, and more practice. Remember to make contact under the ball for underspin.
