Agreed! But nowadays I don't play as often as I used to, and my timing is off at the beginning, and the the worst scenario is Im tired or don't have enought sleep my form is really off. 11 points is kill or be kill situation you gotta pushed yourselve for every shot and can't afford to make much mistakes. Yesterday I had a match and I was leading 9-1 First game, and guess what I relaxed my friend caugh up to 9 all and he lead 10-9. I have lost 9 point straight and I could not get one point no matter what I did. At 10-9 it was my serve I he took my underspin short to the net and manage to round it up to 10/10. I took a break and gathered my thoughts and started to think clearly and calm my self down, it was an important match coz dinner was at stake
My learned from my past experience and watching professional players taking a break at critical moments during a battle. Eventually it went on to 13/13 and I won the first game of 15/13 phew that was a close call, and the short break really help to break my friends momentum. Second and third game was a cinch coz I gave him a no mercy game kill or be kill.... dinner was sweet.
Has anyone lost so many points before? I have and it was cold sweat... well I mean It the game was for fun its alright but there was a bet and losing so many points was insane and unbelievable. We both had a good laugh after the game and my friend said if I had lost the first game, the second and third game would have rendered him victorious coz I would have lost my confidence and lost my mojo to play on.... I guess he was right.
