Table tennis books reviews

Postby ejunkie » Mon Aug 31, 2009 1:52 am

I hope to creat a post for some of you to give us some reviews of some good table tennis books available. I Have a few tt books myself, and the review I am giving is the more recent "Basic Table Tennis". It's Written in Chinese and published in Aug 2007 in Hong Kong. The price is HK$68 or NT$320. It comes with a DVD instructional video inadditional to the book. It has areas that some books don't cover much, like ways of warm up and strategies in double's play. It has many detailed color pics showing every instructions step by step. It contains so many pics that you don't have to know Chinese to benefit from reading it. The book covered from history to equipment to grip to basics to footwork to serve to topspin to strategy...... It is very easy to follow by beginners. I rate it 4/5 stars for its intended audience. :ugeek:
