Yes, I have heard of Swingback & Fireproof II but not Punto.

The Swingback is a long pimple rubbers from TTMaster, a Swiss based company. It was claimed to be the closest to the traditional frictionless long pimple rubbers (like the Dr Neubauer and Hallmark rubbers), while they still meet the new ITTF regulation on minimum friction.

There is a review of the swingback at the oneofakind forum : http://oneofakindtrading.com.au/ttmaste ... eviews.htm

Fireproof II is a a long pips rubber for a close to the table game. It has good control, the topspin can be chop-blocked, but can also be counterhit, which seems to produce a low trajectory dead ball. No-spin shots can be punched back. Backspin can be attacked very easily producing good reversal making them drop. When chopping against backspin or sidespin, the ball can grip quite a bit, so adjustments need to done.

They have discontinued everything except Fireproof II, Punto and Fireproof. I'm going to test those rubbers in the coming days. Our TableTennisStore.US will carry those rubbers.

Choosing TTMaster products was a challenge for me. I did not want to promote the close to frictionless products. But I felt bad the way the offensive rubbers are going. I think some of the fastest rubbers out there are even faster than regular rubbers speed glued. The speed and spin of offensive rubbers are increasing while there is not much defensive products to combat that growth.

It would be an interesting test for me. In the last few days, I was playing with Dr.Neubauer ABS Anti-spin to have a feeling of the frictionless pips. I have used it before but not any from 2008 January.

Thanks for those review links.
