Ulmo Special Shape Blade

Postby varghese » Tue May 19, 2009 11:07 pm

I have received a Ulmo Special Blade a while back from Tommy Zai, a fellow member on a different forum. I will be testing and post some pictures of the same. It has a very special shape.

It is made in Germany and the designer may join the forum soon. I don't have any idea what I should do after I test it. If anyone is interested in testing, let me know.

Some details please. Is it a defensive blade or an offensive blade? How many ply? What are the wood? Weight? etc.

I will. This is a very interesting blade. It falls under offense. It has excellent craftsmanship, made by hand.

I can post a review only after I get back from Dallas.

Tommy was calling it Ulmo Shark Attack, but that is not the right name. If I get some time, I will post a pic before I leave for Dallas tomorrow. Ulmo's website is in German I think. Ulmo has not replied to me yet. I hope he will join the forum and this topic.

I have my cousin getting married there on Saturday. I also have to visit few places to find a good place where my family can move next year. I talked to Jasna Reed to find out the Texas Wesleyan's schedule. Unfortunately none of them are there because of the memorial weekend. Jansa is also not there.

Hello,

My name is Ulrich Moeller - I am from Germany and the ULMO Blades are made by my me

My english is not very good- so the English page is not up to date on my site - sorry!

The blade "Shark Attack" is a offense blade with a special shape. you can take a look at my ULMO page

Also I don`t make the blade by hand! I glue the layers by hand - but the cut I make with a CNC. Also I make special shapes for the handle concave and anatomic - I called them 3D - you can also find them on my page.

Best regards

Uli, thank you for joining the tabletennisJunkie forum. I don't think we have problem with your English. You are explaining it well, so we can understand it better.
