Varghese's video

Postby varghese » Sun Jun 21, 2009 11:19 pm

This is the first time I'm putting a video of mine on the web. I thought to put it here so that you guys can curse me.

The players I'm playing against are the best players in our area. I never intended to humiliate or degrade their ability to play against me. These guys have done amazing shots against me. Almost at the end of the video, you will see me saying "sorry" for doing some of my stupid stuff.

I played better last week after a long time - may be after an year almost. I have my lungs problem under control and can breathe better and move little better now. I have to work hard to play good at the US Open next week.

As you guys might have noticed, I have struggled with weight problem whole my life.

Let me know what do you guys think about my stupid game.

Hello,

I have liked your play.
May be just one thing: when you positioned in the middle and the ball is on the right half of the table try to play with the forehand and when it on the left half -- try to play with your backhand. For these you sometimes need to move to an appropriate position.

I agree. I had problem in moving as I have gained some weight as well as recovering from a lungs problem.

I take all the opportunity to loop from the forehand. But sometimes I can angle the ball to make the opponent fall apart, then I will use the pips side. I will post a video later where you don't see me doing the chicken wing strokes.

Because I have changed the video hosting service, the video I have listed in the first post has disappeared. Instead of that, enjoy this.
