Walmart site

Postby ejunkie » Thu Sep 10, 2009 1:48 am

This post really doesn't belong here but I don't know where to put it.

I want to know if anyone knows the site adress of a new site where people post pics of weird looking Walmart shoppers. It's a site that just a few months old and it's now one of the most popular site ever.

People of Wal-Mart is a site started up by three friends who found a trip to Wal-Mart to be quite an experience. The site features pictures of Wal-Mart shoppers with odd, funny appearances.

The site is described:

“People of Walmart was founded in August of 2009 by three friends and roommates after an inspirational trip to WalMart. Let’s face it; we all have seen the people who obviously don’t have mirrors and/or family and friends to lock them in a basement, and they all seem to congregate at Walmart. It’s not everywhere that you can shop for milk at 10 a.m. next to a 400lb mother of 6 wearing a pink tube top, leopard tights, and hooker heels.”

The site has truly become a hit and has so many visitors that it crashed! It was down for a while but is back up again. The “People of Wal-Mart” site was created by Andrew Kipple, Adam Kipple and Luke Wherry. Many think the site is inappropriate but no one is forcing these people to go to out in public and in Wal-Mart in those outfits right?

I like this caption: “What are you wearing sexy?” -Cowboy boots. “Ya that’s hot.” – Pink velour pants. “Ya I like that.” – a little green baby girl hoodie. “Oh damn, that sounds sexy.” – and I kinda look like Gallagher. “Oh ya…wait…what?”
  :o :) :D :D
