What do you think the ideal height for tt and what's yours?
I don't think there is one for tt but for each style there is an ideal height. So for my style (secret?) I think the ideal height is about 5 ft 2 inches.

I'm 5'6 and my style is offensive. Mostly looping at mid range from the table. I think 5'3 would be better for my style.

I am 5'6" amd started as a defensive player. Now learning more to be offensive.

Acer, I think a tall person is better for mid distance. Here are some of the height of players that is very good at that distance:
Wang Hao 1.76M
Timo Ball 1.78M

Samsonov is more of an All-rounder even though he is very high in height.
