Love the layouts of the forum and found that assessing this site is faster than the tabletennisnetwork.com forum.

I like the step by step instruction on how to attached any youtube videos, do & don't etc.

So far I do not have any dislike as yet but to make the forum more lively, can I suggest that all the discussions in the tabletennisnetwork.com forum be "imported" to this new site.

Cheers.

Thank you 729 fx for joining tabletennisJunkie. You have been active on the previous forum on table tennis network more than me. It was a mistake from my side not to spend much time there on ttn.

Glad to hear that. There were some technical issues that I have found out which was causing a lot of delay in accessing the ttn site. The delay has started happening after expanding the site to many languages. There was a third party module also causing a problem. The tabletennisJunkie will not have that problem. It has more more growth also. tabletennisJunkie is hosted at a friend's hosting company. He has the largest hosting company in the world. I have great access to this friend anytime.

I will be spending a lot of time on this forum. I'm getting a htc pro smart phone this week, and that helps to post from anywhere I'm at. I have also plans to add more features to the forum, and it will be entertaining for the members to use those features. You might have noticed some features on this site already. Things like (1) who has the highest posts (2) a separate For Sales section (3) the ability of the topic starter to appreciate the poster who has provided the best answer.

It may be hard to import the topics and posts from table tennis network forum. It would be rather easy to start those topics here on tabletennisJunkie. You can go ahead and start those on tabletennisJunkie, or I will slowly bring them here.

Cheers!

Are we allowed to sell "off-topic" items in the for sale section? I have a hard drive I need to get rid of.

A good suggestion. But I believe that section is only for tt items.
As for non-tt related items, I will check with the admin on this and will revert.

Thanks, for the reply. It's ok, adding it will probably just distract users from the other forum sections   .

729 has discussed this matter to me. I will create a non-tt section in the sales section soon for the non-tt items to sell. I would say if the items are listed under the non-tt section and managed in that category, it is okay.

Some junkies may not like this concept of diverting the focus to non-tt items. I would say let us try it out and see how that works.

I hope this don't go any further because I hate to see Nike shoes on sale here like some other sites do.

ejunkie have a point there.

But, like the administrator mentioned earlier, let's start a non-tt section and see how it goes from there.
