What is the fastest wooden blade?

Say a 5-ply. Is it some of the older ones like Cresail?
Say a 7-ply. Is it Clipper? :?
If we limit the discussion to blades after 1999, what's your opinion?

The fastest wooden blade would have to be the Yasaka Leopard (3 ply), that's only my opinion, but it certainly matches up very well even against some of the faster composite blades like Schlager, Sardius, Galaxy T1 etc. etc.

Does a 3-ply blade have the same feel as 5-ply? Or is it too fast to have any feel?
